This CD displays the versatility of the ensembles within the Naden Band.

Under the direction of Lt(N) Camil Bouchard, the symphonic concert band is featured on Sailing, Symphonic Suite from Far and Away, Hymn to the Fallen and Sea Song Medley (arranged by band arranger PO2 Roy Kaighin). The band’s vocalist PO1 Mike Broadley is showcased in You Make Me Feel So Young, Saturday Night and the Louis Armstrong classic What a Wonderful World.

The band salutes our Navy tradition with Unter der Admiralsflagge (Under the Admiral’s Flag), the Naval Hymn Eternal Father and Navy Marchpast Heart of Oak.

The Pacific Sound Stage Band is heard in a screaming version of Malaguena. The Salty Soaks Dixieland Band plays Struttin’ with Some Barbecue and the Naden Jazz Quintet cooks on Three o’clock in the Morning.

The Naden Winds are featured on the light and lively Five Easy Dances and the Naden Brass Quintet lend their sonorous brass sound to Song of Grief from Armenian Scene.
